Fried food fans, rejoice. The State Fair Of Texas has announced its theme for 2022, which is set to be “Taste Of Texas."
According to a press release, this year’s theme aims to celebrate all the fair food guests know and love, from corn dogs and funnel cakes to plenty of fried creations.
“This year’s commemorative theme art is about more than just food,” Mitchell Glieber, State Fair of Texas president, says via press release. “It’s about bringing people together. Whether you’re competing in a creative arts cooking contest, wandering the Big Tex Urban Farms greenhouse on the Midway, shopping for locally made treats, or taste-testing the Big Tex Choice Awards finalists, food is the common denominator all fairgoers come out to enjoy year after year.”
This year’s State Fair is set to open on Sept. 30 and run through Oct. 23. For more information, visit BigTex.com.
