The Colleyville Woman’s Club (CWC) is now accepting nominations for its 30th annual Youth Volunteer Service Awards, recognizing local children and teens for exceptional community volunteer efforts.
Open to youth ages 5 to 19, the program honors hands-on service that reflects a commitment to helping others and strengthening the community. Any child may be nominated, as long as they reside in or attend school in Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Haltom City, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Southlake or Watauga. Volunteer service itself may take place anywhere.
Awards recognize voluntary, unpaid service only. Fundraising activities and lobbying efforts are excluded. Nominees are evaluated in four age groups, with multiple recipients possible in each category.
In addition to the Youth Volunteer Service Awards, CWC offers two scholarship programs for graduating seniors. The Volunteer Scholarship Program awards scholarships based on a student’s four-year history of volunteer service, while CWC’s need-based scholarships provide financial assistance to seniors at six designated area high schools.
Recipients from all three programs will be honored at the Caring With Commitment Celebration, scheduled for April 30 at the Colleyville Center.
Nomination and application forms, along with complete program information, are available at their website. The deadline to submit nominations and scholarship applications is February 20, 2026.
