Whether you decide to celebrate in-person or virtually, there are a number of events in the Metroplex planned for the Fourth of July. From a virtual fun run to plenty of fireworks, this year’s Fourth of July will be one to remember.
This year for the Fourth of July, the city of Southlake will double the height of its fireworks show, ensuring that locals can enjoy the fireworks from the comfort of their own home. The fireworks show is scheduled for July 3 at 9:30 p.m. Though Bicentennial Park will not be open for viewing the fireworks, set up a comfy chair in your backyard and enjoy the sights with your family.
Another way to celebrate the Fourth of July is by tuning into Roanoke’s Virtual 3rd of July celebration. After tuning into Roanoke’s website or their social media pages, you can enjoy an entire lineup of Fourth of July events — from music and magic to a BMX Bike Show and fireworks from shows past.
For a musical accompaniment to fireworks this year, enjoy Fort Worth’s fireworks show. On July 4 at 9:30 p.m., you can tune into FM 95.9 to listen to the music that the fireworks will be choreographed to or you can watch the show live on their website. However you choose to enjoy the fireworks, it’s a sight you won’t want to miss.
Stars and Stripes Parade & Festival
If you want to get out of the house and celebrate, Music City Mall in Lewisville will be hosting a Stars and Stripes Parade and Festival on July 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Uncle Sam on stilts will be making his way around the mall during the parade and free popcorn and candy is available to attendees. This event is also dog-friendly so grab a mask, remember to socially distance and enjoy the Fourth of July.
Grapevine July 4 Fireworks Extravaganza
