Art lovers, mark your calendars: the countdown to one of Southlake’s most anticipated cultural events begins with the annual Strokes of Art in the Square, returning February 15 to celebrate the 26th year of Art in the Square.
Presented by Methodist Southlake Medical Center, the community gathering will take place from 4–5:30 p.m. in the foyer of Southlake Town Hall, offering guests an early glimpse at the creativity and talent that will define this year’s festival season. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments while exploring a curated selection of artwork from jury-selected artists traveling from across the country.
During the event, the Southlake Women’s Club Foundation will also unveil the Northeast Tarrant County 501(c)(3) charities chosen as the 2026 beneficiaries of Art in the Square — a cornerstone of the festival’s mission to support local nonprofit organizations through the power of the arts.
Strokes of Art in the Square marks the start of voting for the 2026 People’s Choice Award, giving the community an opportunity to support their favorite featured artist. Votes can be cast in person at Southlake Town Hall or via QR code, with voting open through April 3.
Co-sponsored by the Southlake Arts Council, Apex Arts League and Art in the Square/Southlake Women’s Club, the event serves as a vibrant preview of the full festival experience.
Save the date for April 24–26, when Art in the Square returns for its 26th year — inviting the community to get wild about art once again.
