Six Flags Over Texas is unwrapping a milestone this season, as Holiday in the Park marks its 40th anniversary in Arlington.
The event transforms the park into a twinkling winter playground with more than two million lights, hundreds of live trees, more snow than ever and a lineup of holiday attractions for guests of all ages. From festive décor to live entertainment, the park offers a fully immersive seasonal experience.
At the heart of the celebration is Tinker’s Toy Factory, an all-new cirque-style show in the freshly renovated Southern Palace. Guests can also explore the Christmastime Keepsakes Store, the park’s first holiday shop of its kind, featuring ornaments, gifts and seasonal décor perfect for holiday shopping.
Nightly snowfall along Merry Main Street adds a magical touch, where families can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, take photos in the festive workshop and watch the towering Christmas tree light up during the park’s evening ceremony.
“This year we are truly transforming the park with more lights than ever, over-the-top decorations themed for each area of the park and daily snow along Merry Main Street,” said Mark Boyer, vice president and park manager for Six Flags Over Texas, in a press release.
