Moviegoers in the Mid-Cities and surrounding Tarrant County communities can help make the holiday season a little brighter for local families while enjoying a night at the movies.
LOOK Dine-In Cinema at 183 & Central is partnering with Christmas Providers to kick off an early holiday food drive benefiting children and families in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford and Birdville ISD communities, per a company press release.
Guests visiting the theater are encouraged to bring a canned food donation to add to the collection. A donation box and Christmas Providers sign will be available inside the theater, making it easy for moviegoers to contribute while catching the latest film in LOOK's dine-in cinema setting.
The partnership comes as local organizations prepare to help families in need during the holiday season, when the demand for food assistance often increases. Donations from area residents can help provide families with pantry staples and other necessities during the holidays.
The food drive is seeking several items, including peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna and chicken, canned soup, and canned fruits and vegetables.
Organizers ask that donors please avoid bringing items packaged in glass jars.
For residents of Southlake, Grapevine, Colleyville, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, and surrounding communities, the food drive offers a simple way to give back. The next time you're heading to LOOK Dine-In Cinema for a movie, consider bringing a canned good along with your ticket and helping Christmas Providers support local children and families this holiday season.
