The Me Squared Cancer Foundation recently held its 5th Annual Black and White Gala at The Westin Southlake, raising a record-breaking amount to support newly diagnosed cancer patients across DFW. Building on the success of 2025 — previously the organization’s highest fundraising year — this year’s gala surpassed that milestone thanks to the generosity of its sponsors and donors.
The evening featured dinner, dancing and a lively auction, all in service of Me Squared’s mission to ease the financial burden of cancer care.
Board member and breast cancer survivor Kelly Rose shared, “We put our heart and soul into our biggest fundraiser of the year. As a board member and patient advocate lead, I am truly excited to give cancer patients the chance to be survivors.”
Since its founding seven years ago, the organization has distributed more than $2 million in grants to over 1,500 patients, helping ease financial strain during one of life’s most challenging moments. Focused on serving individuals living at or below 250% of the poverty level — regardless of insurance status — Me Squared provides up to $2,500 in grant funding to cover essential treatment expenses.
