On Tuesday, 135 people were killed and at least 5,000 people were injured after an explosion at a port in Beirut, Lebanon, according to the "New York Times." Hundreds of thousands of residents are now homeless and the damage is estimated to be at $3 billion.

Lebanese Red Cross, the main provider of ambulances in Lebanon, has 3,000 emergency medical technicians and over 300 ambulances responding to the aftermath of the explosion.
Impact Lebanon & Baytna Baytak’s Shelter Fund
Impact Lebanon is partnering with Baytna Baytak to help fund the latter’s efforts in sheltering people following the explosion. With hundreds of thousands of people now homeless after the explosion, ensuring people have safe shelter is a huge need right now.
A co-recipient of 2011 Hilton Humanitarian Prize following its work in Haiti after the earthquake, Humanity and Inclusion is supporting those affected with a 100-person team of physical therapists and psycho-social experts.
Assisting other responders in Beirut, International Medical Corps. is also working to provide medical supplies and staff to hospitals as well as deploy mobile medical units to affected communities.
UNICEF, which works to help children around the world, is also collecting donations to help the children in Lebanon affected by the explosion.
