
DeMarcus Ware, a former Dallas Cowboy, has been nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s class of 2022, according to a press release.
The linebacker, who lives in Southlake and owns a gym in Trophy Club, is among the 122 athletes who were nominated and is one of the 10 nominees nominated in their first year of eligibility.
Twenty-five semifinalists will be named in November. From there, 15 finalists will be named in January. The 15 finalists, along with senior finalist Cliff Branch, contributor finalist Art McNally and coach finalist Dick Vermeil, will be presented to the Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee during its annual meeting.
Fans can vote on who they predict will be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame through January 2022. The class of 2022 will be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame next August.
