When it comes to financial planning, everyone can use a little bit of help — and a group of six Dragons are working to do just that.
Founded by Carroll Senior High student Arjan Suri, Enrichify is a nonprofit that leverages a new approach to financial education through the use of technology and artificial intelligence. According to fellow student and director of operations Anson Omar, Enrichify uses an AI budgeting tool to help strategize with investments, as well as a chatbot to help users increase their financial literacy.
“Our core mission is to empower individuals of all ages to plan their financial future, whether it be in the form of learning about retirement accounts, understanding options for paying for college, or even learning the basics of investing in the stock market,” Anson says.
Since its launch, Enrichify has recruited over 570 users and $7,500 in donations, as well as a reach of over 1,000 people through their Instagram. They will also lead a presentation during the next city council meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
