Jason Witten is on the move. After moving from his home in Southlake near Bob Jones in 2013 to a Mediterranean Estate in Vaquero, the all-time Dallas Cowboys leading receiver's residential listing is on the market.
The $4.685 million, 1.2 acre Westlake homesite, 2001 Navasota Cove, can be found within a gated cul de sac, perfect for a family looking for privacy. And the six-bedroom house offered plenty of room for the growing Witten crew.
After moving in, the Wittens remodeled to fit the estate to their taste. The home offers multiple outdoor living spaces, including one outside the separate guest house — built to match the same style of the main home. All major living areas can be found on the first floor, with only the bedroom suites left for the second level. With interior features including a built-in wine cooler, vaulted ceilings and a wet bar as well as exterior features like an outdoor fireplace, covered patio and outdoor living locations, there is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy.
"This is a home that has had a lot of family love in it," listing agent Roxann Taylor says.
Families will love the multi-level pool. The beach entry spills into a diving pool, which also features a fun waterslide. All in all, this home provides plenty of excitement for adults and kids alike.
For those unfamiliar with the beloved footballer, Witten is the longest-tenured player in Cowboys history. Originally drafted in the third round in 2003, Witten has gone on to be No. 4 all-time NFL in career receptions (1,215 and counting). In 2018, Witten decided to move onto the next step of his career and join ESPN’s Monday Night Football. But he later announced that he would dawn the famous Cowboy uniform one more time. While he is continuing (and moving) on, it’s safe to say Witten will always be a local legend.
