The 2025 Miss Southlake-Westlake Competition, held at the Coppell Arts Center on Sept. 8, was a night to remember, with Miss Southlake and Miss Southlake’s Teen 2025 chosen to represent their communities.
The new Miss Southlake 2025 is Grace Shoop, who is currently pursuing a Master of Public Service & Administration from The Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University. Receiving the Overall Interview award at the competition, her talent portion entailed her performing an original HERStory piece titled “Live Out LOUD,” earning her a $1,100 scholarship. As Miss Southlake, Shoop aims to advocate for her community service initiative, Live Out L.O.U.D., which focuses on educating students about the power of speech patterns and encouraging them to dream big.
Savannah Wilson, the newly crowned Miss Southlake’s Teen 2025, showcased her talent with a contemporary dance to “Requiem For A Dream,” winning Overall Talent and Overall Evening Wear at the competition. Wilson received a $800 scholarship and will advocate for her community service initiative, "Think Before You Drink," aiming to raise awareness about the prevalence of underage drinking and party culture and encourage her peers to avoid underage drinking.
