LIBERTY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL | International Thespian Society Troupe 6505 President
After seeing how performances provided an escape for audiences, Mason Cole knew he had a heart for theater. That passion has brought about not only high school leadership roles but also post-grad potential.
Hot off of the prestigious Summer High School Training Program at DePaul University’s Theatre School, Mason takes the role as the Liberty Christian School thespian society president during his senior year. But it’s not the first time he’s led the department. Last year, he directed the school’s successful production of “Clue.” He has also been recognized for his work in front of the curtain, including placing first during last year’s TAPPS duet acting state competition.
On top of his role as the Mandarin Club’s president, Mason says he strives to be a leader in the classroom as well, always trying to meet new people, raise his hand first in class and go out of his way to help others. After graduation, Mason aspires to return to DePaul University, this time to obtain a degree in acting.
