The third annual Run4Elise has been rescheduled from April 6 to May 4 due to severe weather forecasted. Founder and 2019 Tastemaker Lori Cerami has ensured runners and walkers who were planning on taking part in the 5K or 1-mile fun run tomorrow can expect all the same activities in May.
“The timeline of the Run4Elise and the water safety messaging will remain the same,” Lori explains. “The event will continue to include departments from Southlake DPS. The foundation is also very excited to add the Office of Emergency Management to the event!”
For locals who were planning on picking up their swag prior to the run, you can still do so until 4:30 p.m. today.
“Participants can pick up their swag bag and ‘Use Your Voice for Good, Believe’ shirt early at packet pick up on, Friday, April 5 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Foot and Ankle Associates of North Texas in Grapevine,” Lori says.
The event will still take place at Gateway Church on Saturday, May 4. Start times include 8:30 a.m. for the 1-mile fun run and 9 a.m. for the 5K. For more information, visit Swim4Elise/Run4Elise.com.
