Fresh off another record-setting summer of giving back to local schools, the Southlake Women’s Club (SWC) is officially kicking into high gear for its 2026–2027 season, ushering in a dynamic slate of community philanthropy and social gatherings.
The club set a lively tone for the year ahead with a late-August "Arrivederci Summer" social held at a private Westlake estate hosted by RPG Homes, which featured a runway showcase by local boutique The Hue Theory.
The gathering also featured keynote speaker John Israel, author of Mr. Thank You, who challenged attendees to leverage gratitude for personal and community impact, and recognized Lisa Cummings as Member of the Month for her work with the Community Outreach Committee.
Supporting Local Schools
Before kicking off the new social year, SWC was hard at work supporting local families through its annual School Supply Pack Program. The initiative lets Carroll ISD parents order campus-specific supply kits delivered straight to their doors. Beyond saving parents a trip to the store, the program returned nearly $50,000 directly to participating Carroll ISD campuses last school year and donated 65 supply packs to local students in need.
Over the program's history, SWC has directed more than $800,000 back to CISD schools—with 100% of proceeds going directly to the campuses.
“Southlake Women’s Club is about much more than attending a monthly luncheon,” said Minta Kulas, President. “It is an opportunity to build friendships, become involved in our community and use our collective talents and resources to make a difference. We are excited about the year ahead and the many ways our members will contribute.”
Established in 1985 as Southlake’s original women’s organization, the group has grown to more than 150 members and raised over $3.8 million to support women, children, and families across Northeast Tarrant County.
