The fifth annual edition of TEDx Southlake returns in late October, but for those itching for a little TEDx-style inspiration in the meantime, there’s good news. TEDx Southlake is launching a special TEDx Salon Series of stand-alone events this month.
The Salon Series will feature intimate, single-issue focused events that will allow the TEDx community to gather and stay engaged in between larger sessions. The first TEDx Southlake Salon will feature Southlake resident extraordinaire Dr. April Michaud-Willis, who will speak about how social entrepreneurship is transforming the business landscape by merging people with profit.
The event, hosted by the Southlake Rotary Club, will be held on Friday, Aug. 23 from 12-1 p.m. at White’s Chapel Church. To register or learn more, visit TEDxSouthlake.com.
