Baseball season is underway, and the Texas Rangers are wasting no time in giving back to the community.
Tickets are now available for the fifth annual Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation TEX Gala, set for April 3 at Globe Life Field. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Rangers Foundation and its mission to improve the lives of children, servicemen & women, first responders, and their families in the North Texas community and beyond.
Doors open for a VIP reception at 5:30 p.m., and at 6 p.m. for the general public. A cocktail hour, dinner and a performance by country music recording artist Thomas Rhett will follow. An assortment of fun activities are planned for the night, including a boot shining, gaming tables, a speakeasy and much more.
Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on live and silent auction items that feature exclusive baseball experiences and memorabilia -- as well as featured auction packages that include:
- Trip to New York City to see the Rangers take on the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium
- VIP Rangers experience at Globe Life Field featuring field access for pre-game batting practice and a suite
- Trip to Las Vegas for dinner with Pappy Van Winkle and tickets to Kenny Chesney concert at the Sphere
- Opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at a select Rangers home game at Globe Life Field
Per Texas Rangers officials, last year’s fourth annual TEX Gala raised $2.8 million for the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation, for a combined $8.275 million raised since the TEX Gala’s inception in 2021.
The Rangers are off April 3, but host the Tampa Bay Rays April 4 at 7 p.m.
