On Wednesday, May 27 Carroll ISD Administration hosted the district's annual End of Year Celebration. The event was held at Carroll Senior High School.
Emceed by CISD Superintendent Dr. David Faltys and Board President Chris Archer, the administration announced this year's district teachers of the year, service award winners and honored all retirees.
All campus teachers of the year were recognized as were all 25, 30, 35 and 40 year employees.
The K-6 district teacher of the year is Melody Anderson, a special education teacher from Rockenbaugh Elementary.
Carroll's secondary district teacher of the year is Denise McCrummen, also a special education teacher, from Dawson Middle School.
The district teachers of the year also won use of a Lexus courtesy of our Dragon Marketing partner, Park Place Lexus. For more information about this year's individual campus teachers of the year, click here.
