Snapped Dragons / S. Johnson
The sounds of brass, percussion and woodwinds will echo through Bedford on Saturday, October 4, as Pennington Field hosts the Bands of America Dallas Mid-Cities Regional.
This prestigious event will showcase 21 high school marching bands from across Texas — and one from Oklahoma — competing for the regional championship title. Among the talented groups is Carroll High School’s award-winning Dragon Band, taking the field alongside powerhouse programs like Flower Mound, Coppell and Hebron.
Hosted by L.D. Bell High School and Trinity High School, the Mid-Cities Regional is part of the Bands of America Championships season, a national series that celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025. Since 1975, Bands of America has been a leading stage for student musicians, combining artistry, athleticism and school spirit.
