One of Carroll Senior High School’s most talented singers will perform at the Texas All-State Tenor-Bass Choir next month.
After competing against 70,000 musicians across the state, Michael Mazey was selected to the choir after finishing in the top 2.6% of the state. This will be Michael’s first time performing as a part of a TMEA All-State organization, according to a media release.
Michael will perform with the All-State Tenor-Bass Choir at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center on Feb. 12 as part of the 2022 Texas Music Educators Association Convention. It will be the first in-person convention since 2020 and will see over 30,000 attendants from across the world.
