As America marks its 250th birthday, the Carroll Dragon Band is inviting the community to celebrate with a patriotic performance that blends national pride with a touch of Dragon tradition.
The first-ever Carroll Dragon Band Alumni + Student Fourth of July Concert will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, at the Carroll Senior High School Fine Arts Center. Admission is free, and community members are encouraged to bring family and friends for an afternoon of music honoring the nation's semiquincentennial.
The special concert will unite current Dragon Band members with alumni from across the program's storied history, creating a multigenerational ensemble for a one-of-a-kind performance. Together, they will perform a selection of patriotic favorites celebrating 250 years of American independence while showcasing the enduring legacy of one of Southlake's most recognizable programs.
The event serves as both a tribute to the United States and a celebration of the Carroll Dragon Band community, bringing past and present musicians together on the same stage. For alumni, it's a chance to reconnect with former classmates and directors. For current students, it's an opportunity to perform alongside the generations who helped build the band's tradition of excellence.
