Carroll Robotics had a strong showing at its first VEX Robotics Tipping Point tournament of the season over the weekend.
Held on Saturday, Jan. 8 at Carroll High School, the VEX Tipping Point competition saw 40 teams across North Texas assemble at the CHS gym to see whose programming was the best. Carroll had 15 teams representing the district at the contest, with two teams finishing in the top 10 for the final rankings. Carroll High School also won two judges awards and an Amaze award for outstanding robot programming.
The next tipping point tournament will be held on Feb. 12 at the same campus, where teams will get another chance to qualify for the 2022 VEX Robotics World Championship. There are currently two Carroll teams that have already qualified for the championship.
