The Carroll Senior High School Student Council is looking to provide warmth for local foster children during this chilly season. That’s why they’re hosting a “Cuddle Drive” until Friday, February 5.
Collaborating with the National Honor Society, the student council is collecting stuffed backpacks to benefit children in need around the area. According to its website, backpacks must be stuffed with at least one blanket, one children’s book, one stuffed animal, one pair of socks, one bedsheet and one pillowcase and be dropped off at room 116 or behind the student activity center between 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 5. Students can receive one community service hour per $5 spent.
