After receiving a standing ovation at last week’s graduation ceremonies and then emphatically booming, “Class dismissed!” before the gathering of Southlake students, parents, and faculty at Dragon Stadium, the outpouring of gratitude for Carroll Senior High School Principal Ryan Wilson continues to reach new heights.
This week, a letter from Wilson to all CSHS Employees went viral sharing the news that he has accepted the role of principal at Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD for the 2025-2026 school year. The letter showcased Wilson’s continued servant leadership despite trying circumstances and stated, “Thank you for the tremendous support you’ve offered me and my family during these last few weird and wild months.”
In turn, Dragon Nation supporters of the beloved principal, administrator and teacher have launched a special GoFundMe campaign to give back to the man who has given so much to the school district during his 23-year tenure.
Organizers of the campaign, entitled “Show Gratitude to Principal Ryan Wilson”, encourage others to contribute “a gift of any amount, which will be shared with him entirely.”
