Over 60 Dragon Band members will be performing in the All-Region band this spring.
Earlier this week, Southlake Carroll saw 64 musicians qualify for the Region 31 convention, including eight in the ninth grade band, 16 in the concert band, 14 in the symphonic band, 18 in the wind symphony and eight in the wind ensemble. In addition, 14 band members qualified for the area audition round, which is the second-most qualifiers in Dragon Band history, while four also qualified for the All-State jazz ensembles, including Michael Fradkin, Nikhel Kamalia, Weston Clark and Matteo Longarini.
