Southlake residents are proud of its brave and selfless first-responders — so much so that they're planning to have its inaugural appreciation and tailgate event next week at Dragon Stadium.
At 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, Lady Dragon Soccer, Boys Soccer and the CISD Student Council will host the First Responders Tailgate and Appreciation event cookout. Prior to the Dragons' next game against Keller, the student groups will come together for the ticketed only pre-game cookout to feed and support the first responders.
Commemorative T-shirts can be purchased online by 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 3 to be worn on game day to show support for Southlake's first responders; parking is free to all first responders. For more information, call 214.998.4400 or email Stacy.10@Yahoo.com.
