It didn't take long for a neighboring district to snatch up Christina Benhoff.
Benhoff was officially named principal of Keller ISD's Timber Creek High School at the May 15 KISD board meeting. She held the same position at Carroll High School since 2022 but, as part of a slew of district personnel moves earlier this month, her position was not renewed.
Carroll ISD Superintendent Jeremy Glenn said both Benhoff and Carroll Senior High Principal Ryan Wilson have contracts "in effect through the end of the 2025-26 school year," but beyond that, renewals have not been offered.
“Mrs. Benhoff leads with a commitment to academic excellence, an enthusiasm for students, and dedication to staff and parents,” said Leanne Shivers, Keller ISD assistant superintendent, in a press release. “As she is already a member of the Keller ISD community, we’re excited to see her family join KISD leadership for years to come.”
Benhoff was an assistant principal at several Carroll ISD campuses before becoming principal at Carroll High School, including Carroll Senior High, Carroll High, Dawson Middle School and Walnut Grove Elementary School.
