Six junior varsity Emerald Belles will be marching in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year. Ella Connelly, Karys Engelhardt, Olivia Haley, Shriya Kalra, Gabby Langston and Hallie Nelson were selected to head to New York to march in the parade on Thanksgiving Day, according to Belle parent Sonal Kalra.
The Belles will be among the 600 performers making up this year’s Spirit of America’s Dance Stars, performing their routine to the classic Christmas song “Man With The Bag.” The Dance Stars have been part of the parade since 1986, according to Macy’s website.
Though the girls' placement in the parade has yet to be released, locals can tune in to the parade at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 25 on NBC to catch a glimpse of these Belles.
