Carroll Senior High students Ayaan and Eshaan Magoo are making a powerful impact on youth mental health through their nonprofit, Helpyouthcope.org. Motivated by stories from peers and community members, the brothers co-founded the initiative to foster emotional well-being, empathy and resilience among teens.
The rising seniors' work goes beyond raising awareness. The duo recently launched a mobile app—now available on the Apple App Store—featuring an AI-powered chatbot designed to support teens in moments of stress or isolation. This always-available digital companion provides a safe space for users to express themselves and feel heard, demonstrating how technology can be used to promote positive mental health.
Further amplifying their efforts, Ayaan and Eshaan have partnered with the national nonprofit Active Minds and are currently interning with the organization. Their goal is to align their local advocacy with broader national initiatives, expanding their reach and deepening their impact on young lives across the country.
