Scholars & Athletes Serving Others, or SASO, is a service organization for high school boys and girls and their mothers who reside in Southlake and/or attend Carroll ISD. SASO recently recognized and celebrated 26 students who earned the President's Volunteer Service Award.
Twelve students received gold medals, two received silver medals and 12 received bronze medals. Collectively, these 26 students volunteered a combined 2,941 hours of service.
The students are: Abby Aldridge, Poorvaja Alla, Anika Ammareddygari, Benjamin Blount, Santiago Bryce, James Darr, Chanul Gajanayaka, Sterling Hayes, David James Hill, Zania Karim, Niah Krishnan, Matthew Li, Milton Li, Campbell Lowenstein, Lorelei Lutterbach, Kerrin McDevitt, Eva Menezes, Mahika Mishra, Alisha Naidu, Sonia Naidu, Cristán Paredes, Cruz Paredes, Claire Scillian, Kate Scillian, Sarah Varughese and Charlotte Wolfe.
