Get your head in the game while also supporting CISD when Stadium Blitz comes to Dallas. This traveling obstacle course will set up at Southern Methodist University in March to give people an up-close look at the stadium while also pushing their stamina and fitness ability.
Locals can come out to SMU’s Gerald J. Ford Stadium on March 14 for an afternoon of fun, competition and team building. The day will include a 5K course through the SMU stadium as well as through its practice facility. Over that stretch, there will be 15 obstacles including hurdles, a ladder drill and weight sleds.
Participants, who must be ages 7 and up, will receive race socks, a chipped wristband for time and points tracking, access to the SMU stadium and a finisher’s medal.
Rob Gronkowski and his brothers will travel with Stadium Blitz to 12 premier college markets and pro stadiums across the country this year. If that’s not reason enough to take part in the day’s activities, CISD will be in competition with other area schools to see who has the most students and community members participate.
