Three Dragons made it into the Top 50 of "The New York Times'" seventh annual student review contest.
Every year, "The New York Times" asks students to review any particular movie, book, video game or album in 500 words or less. Nine winners, 15 runners-up and 25 honorable mentions were selected out of 4,000 submissions this year, including three Carroll Dragons.
Carson Crays was named a semifinalist for his review of the Netflix survival drama "Squid Game," while Malini Sampath was named a runner-up for her essay "A Window Into Another World," according to the results. Meanwhile, Enya Pinjani was named an honorable mention for their review on Olivia Rodrigo's debut album "Sour."
