A new high-energy entertainment concept is sliding into Colleyville this spring.
Slick City Action Park — the world’s first indoor dry-slide and air court park — is set to open in early April 2026 at 5655 Colleyville Blvd., taking over the former Studio Movie Grill space. The nearly 40,000-square-foot facility transforms the theater into a three-story playground featuring 15 high-speed attractions.
Guests will be greeted by two 70-foot slides soaring overhead in the lobby, setting the tone for a vertical, multi-level experience where slides weave between floors beneath 40-foot ceilings.
Owned by Colleyville residents Max Reising and Brett Huckins, the park is part of a national expansion by SlideUp, LLC.
“Slick City is something truly different, and bringing it to our hometown makes it even more special,” Huckins said. “We wanted to create a place where families can come together and have fun.”
In addition to slides like Turbo Twin and Avalanche, the park includes air courts, a junior play area and event spaces for parties and group gatherings — positioning it as a go-to destination for families across North Texas.
