According to a new study released by Canadian real estate firm View Homes Team, Southlake is the second-best suburb to live in 2025. With an average of 233 sunny days per year, top-tier schools and a thriving housing market, Southlake beat the rest of the 600 contenders, falling just behind Vienna, Virginia.
The study examined 12 key factors using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, including housing market conditions, employment rates, poverty, education levels, average commute time and crime. Southlake ranked the highest in the top 10 in terms of median income at $250,000 and sunny days, and also had some of the highest rates of insured residents and those with at least a bachelors degree.
Colleyville also made the list, coming in at no. 36. Other DFW suburbs to make the list are Grand Prairie at no. 37 and University Park at no. 49.
