The opportunity for expert swimming instruction in Southlake returns this summer to the Bent Creek Neighborhood Pool.
Whether your child is dipping their toes in for the first time or looking to refine their competitive strokes, the Timarron Summer Swim Instruction program offers top-notch instruction and community.
The program is led by Kevin Murphy, a name synonymous with swimming excellence in Texas. Designed for children ages 4 to 12, the program features small class sizes with a 5-to-1 student-to-instructor ratio to ensure personalized attention and safety.
Class Offerings:
12:20 PM – 1:00 PM: Water Intro & Beginning Swim (Ages 4+): Focuses on water readiness and overcoming limited water fear
1:10 PM – 1:50 PM: Intro to Stroke (Ages 5+): Moving beyond the dog paddle to introduce all four competitive strokes
2:00 PM – 2:40 PM: Advanced Stroke (Ages 6+): Refining all four strokes, shallow dives, and side-breathing techniques
2026 Summer Session Schedule
Lessons run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday for two consecutive weeks per session.
Session I: June 1 – June 12
Session II: June 15 – June 26
Session III: July 6 – July 17
Enrollment & Pricing
This program is available to Timarron residents only and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment is required to reserve a time slot.
Cost: $155 per student per session ($135 for a second child in the same family/session)
Location: Timarron Bent Creek Pool 1250 Bent Creek Drive (Just south of Continental)
Payment: Make checks payable to Kevin Murphy (Note: No Venmo or digital payments accepted)
