Time to Shine is a performing arts studio that provides classes, camps and private lessons in musical theatre, acting, dance, voice, guitar, piano and audition/college prep to students ages 2-18. Our summer camp lineup is open for registration!
We offer the following opportunities:
Performance Camps
Our performance camps are two-week, full-day camps where students put together an entire junior musical or play, complete with choreography, music, costumes, makeup, lights, sets and live audiences. Time to Shine's performance camps are separated by age group - Camp Shine Jr. for students who have completed PreK-1st grade, Camp Shine June and July for students who have completed 2nd-6th grade, Camp Shine Drama for students who have completed 2nd-8th grade, Camp Shine Middle School for students who have completed 7th-8th grade and Camp Shine High School, for students who have completed 9th-12th grade.
First up this summer is our Camp Shine High School, which will be performing the classic Gershwin musical "Crazy for You." The camp runs from May 27-June 6, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.; the performances will occur Friday, June 6 through Sunday, June 8.
Next is our Camp Shine Jr., which will be performing the hilarious romp “Madagascar Kids!” This camp runs from June 9-13, from 8 a.m. - noon. They will perform on the evening of Friday, June 13.
That same week is our inaugural Camp Shine Drama, which will be putting on the straight play “Night Night, Roger Roger,” a fun-filled, action-packed story of what happens when the sun goes down. This camp runs June 9-13, from 12:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m., with performances on Saturday, June 14.
June finishes out with Camp Shine June, which will be the longtime favorite “The Wizard of Oz!” Join us to travel the yellow brick road from June 17-28, with performances the weekend of June 28-30.
After a brief break for the July 4 holiday, we’re back again with Camp Shine July, which will be a refreshing dip under the sea with “The Little Mermaid Jr.” That camp runs from July 7-18, with performances the weekend of July 18-20.
Finally, Camp Shine Middle School rounds out our summer performance camps with the one and only Ghost With the Most: “Beetlejuice Jr.!” This camp will run from July 21-August 1, finishing with performances the weekend of August 1-3.
Half-Day Camps
We also offer one-week half-day camps in singing, acting, dance, musical theatre, audition prep and more. Our half-day camps come with popular, fun themes for students of all ages, from “Wicked” to “Moana” to “Cocomelon” and Mo Willems' “Pigeon!”
At Time to Shine, we firmly believe that finances should not be a barrier to being able to pursue your dreams of participating in the fine arts. To that end, we offer scholarships through our T2S Scholarship Fund that help students of all ages have access to fine arts summer camp opportunities.
The Summer Camp Scholarship Application form can be found at Time2ShineArts.com/t2s-scholarship. The deadline for 2025 applications is Friday, April 25.
