Hispanic Star Dallas and Avondale Dealerships are teaming up to help those in need in Dallas and Uvalde next week.
Every year, Hispanic Star Dallas volunteers have worked to benefit local charities through its annual Truckloads of Giving event. This year, the nonprofit is looking to distribute $500,000 worth of essential goods — and it needs your help.
“Service is one of the six primary SPIRIT core values shared by the incredible team that works at Avondale,” Liz Shafton, Avondale Dealerships communications and experiential director, says via media release. “This initiative allows members to donate their time, approximately 250 hours, in addition to the company’s cash donation in service to the community.”
On June 20-21, volunteers are needed to help pack goods at the Mercedes-Benz of Grapevine at 1300 Texan Trail from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Distribution will then take place the following two days.
