As electric and hybrid vehicles maintain popularity in Dallas-Fort Worth, more and more vehicle charging stations continue to pop up around the Metroplex.
Already sporting a handful of chargers within city limits, three new stations were approved by the Grapevine City Council at the Jan. 21 public meeting. Currently, ten electric vehicle charging stations are located within Grapevine's city limits.
The new stations will be located in parking spaces at Grapevine Mille Mall next to Meow Wolf, per city officials. They will be available 24 hours a day. Each station will be able to charge two vehicles at one time.
A timeline for construction and installation has yet to be announced.
