Southlake residents will soon have a new, completely free viewing option for Texas high school football’s biggest games.
Victory+ announced a landmark five-year agreement with the University Interscholastic League (UIL) to become the exclusive streaming home of the UIL Football State Championships beginning in 2025. The deal grants Victory+ the rights to stream all 12 state title games each year, along with up to 20 additional playoff matchups. The platform — available at no charge on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google TV, Android, iOS and more — marks the first time the full slate of championship games will be accessible outside the traditional cable bundle.
For Carroll fans, this represents a significant shift.
The Dragons are perennial contenders, and every season the community braces for a potential run to the state championship game at AT&T Stadium. Until now, watching the state finals typically required access to a regional sports network carried only on certain cable or satellite providers — or, a ticket to the actual game. Victory+ offers a free, stay-at-home option, giving every household a direct way to tune in if the Dragons reach the biggest stage.
Carroll shut out Crowley in the first round of the playoffs, and face San Angelo Central in Round 2 on Friday.
The move is also a continuation of something Victory+ began testing this past fall when it streamed select high school football games throughout the regular season. Those broadcasts drew strong statewide engagement and signaled the platform’s intent to become a central destination for Texas high school sports coverage. This new deal solidifies that role and positions the service as a long-term home for high-profile playoff matchups.
