When magician Zak Mirz takes the stage at the Palace Theatre on November 8, it will be more than just another stop on his national tour — it’ll be a homecoming.
The Grapevine High School alum has spent the past 15 years captivating audiences across 25 countries with his signature blend of illusion, humor and heart. A first-generation Texan and American, Zak discovered magic as a young boy after losing his father — and in it, he found both solace and purpose.
“Magic became my way of seeing the world differently,” he says. “I’m excited to bring my show back home to Grapevine and create lasting memories on November 8.”
Zak’s story has taken him from local stages to the national spotlight. He’s been featured on America’s Got Talent, served as an advisor for David Blaine’s The Magic Way, and even fooled Penn & Teller on their hit series Fool Us! His YouTube special, Ticket for One, showcases his cinematic approach to magic — one that’s as much about storytelling as sleight of hand.
With the Grapevine show, expect high-energy illusions, cinematic staging and heartfelt storytelling — all with a holiday twist. The performance promises an evening of wonder, laughter and connection, reminding audiences that the most powerful magic often lies in how we see the world around us.
