Owen Allen continues to set the bar. The running back, who rushed for 247 yards and four touchdowns against Midland Legacy last Saturday, is our Dragon Pride Player Of The Week, presented by AC Pros for the second consecutive week and fifth overall time.
His performance last weekend comes after breaking the Southlake Carroll record for most career rushing yards. The junior has rushed for 1,842 yards so far this season.
After Saturday’s game, Allen hit another milestone — over 5,000 career yards rushed. So far, the junior has rushed for 5,171 yards as a Dragon.
The four touchdowns scored by Allen helped contribute to a 42-7 win against Midland Legacy, sending the Dragons to the regional semifinal to take on Lewisville.
