Carroll has officially released their fall football schedule, marking the first season under the leadership of new head coach Lee Munn. While the faces on the sidelines may look different, the expectations for the eight-time state champions remain exactly where they’ve always been: at the top.
The off-season brought a significant shift to the program following the departure of Riley Dodge, who traded his Dragon green for SMU blue. In a move that prioritized continuity, the Dragons promoted Munn, who served as the program's defensive coordinator for eight seasons. Munn inherits a powerhouse that finished 2025 with a stellar 14-1 record, and he’ll lead them into a restructured District 4-6A.
The UIL’s latest realignment has shuffled the deck, most notably removing physical powerhouse Euless Trinity from the schedule. In their place, the Dragons welcome Fort Worth Boswell as the lone newcomer to a district otherwise dominated by the Keller and Northwest corridors. While Carroll famously handed Boswell a 70-0 loss in their last meeting in 2023, the Pioneers bring fresh energy to a district that includes familiar foes like Eaton and Northwest High. Carroll will also host non-district powerhouse Prosper on Sept. 25 before diving full-throttle into district play.
