The Dragon wrestling team won the district tournament title for the seventh year in a row, with 12 individual wrestlers advancing to Region 1-6A. Six wrestlers won individual district titles and Owen Hollaway — the District 4-6A Boys Outstanding Wrestler — won his third district championship.
On the girls side of things, the Lady Dragons were the district team runner-up and six individual wrestlers advanced to Region 1-6A. Wrestler Bayley Trang was also named the District 4-6A Girls Most Outstanding Wrestler and two Lady Dragons won individual district titles.
The wrestlers who advanced to Region 1-6A will now prepare to compete on April 16-17 at Birdville ISD Coliseum.
