Kansas City Chiefs superstar and three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes is turning the spotlight back to where it all began for him—high school football.
In partnership with adidas, Mahomes, who owns a home in Westlake, has launched "Mahomes Brand," a new initiative outfitting 15 elite high school football programs across the country with exclusive gear, uniforms, and his signature Gladiator logo.
And among the carefully selected few? Carroll High School. With its storied legacy—including eight state championships, countless D1 recruits, and a culture built on discipline and pride—the Dragons are now representing the brand on and off the field.
Carroll’s signature green and black will now be accented by Mahomes’ "Gladiator" patch, which the quarterback said symbolizes "a mindset of resilience and relentless effort." The patch, made up of the letters P and M, is visible on several new items of Dragon football merchandise now available for online purchase.
"That mindset of giving everything you got and never backing down is something I've carried with me," Mahomes said at the "Mahomes Brand" launch. "Now it's something I hope inspires the next generation of athletes across the country."
Items for sale with the "Gladiator" patch include white and black Dragon Football hoodies, sleeveless athletic wear t-shirts, outerwear, Dragon Football athletic wear t-shirts, polos. and "sherseys" - t-shirts with a players name and number on the back. Prices range from around $65 up to $85, and kids sizes are available in certain styles.
