It was a dominant showing for both Carroll High golf programs as the boys and girls teams each captured UIL District 4-6A championships.
The Lady Dragons turned in one of the most impressive performances of the tournament, with the first squad winning the district title with a two-day total of 573 (-3 overall). The second team were runners up with a score of 627 (+24), meaning both girls teams advance to regionals.
Leading the way was Gia Ahlowalia, who claimed individual district champion honors with a 140 (-3 overall, rounds of 71 and 69). Stephanie De Marco followed closely, finishing third overall at 142. Balanced scoring across the lineup, including strong contributions from Aubrie Nolen and Olivia Neal, powered the championship effort.
On the boys side, the Dragons surged to a district title at Rockwood Park Golf Course with a 36-hole total of 580, highlighted by a tournament-low 287 in the final round. After a tight opening day, Carroll pulled away with a composed and consistent second round.
Colton Hubbard led the first team at 144, followed by Ayden Patel (145) and Caden Barber (146). Meanwhile, the second squad made a dramatic push, nearly finishing second overall, missing by just one stroke. Jett Campbell earned a regional berth as an individual medalist.
