Sarah Mason and Kathy Talley, 2016 CEF 20th Anniversary Celebration Co-Chairs
Calling all Dragons: Getbrready for a Western-themed bash to top them all. Carroll Education Foundation (CEF) is kicking off its 20th Anniversary Celebration, themed BootbrScootin’ Dragons, September 10, 2016, at the Southlake Hilton. Heading up thebranniversary event are co-chairs Sarah Mason and Kathy Talley, who both havebryears of event-planning experience under their belts.
For 20 years, CEF hasbrgiven back to schools in Carroll ISD through numerous classroom and programbrgrants, senior scholarships and teacher awards. It has awarded more than $1.2brmillion in grants and has distributed $200,000 to date.
Talley said in a pressbrrelease she is “honored to be chairing Boot Scootin' Dragons. It is trulybrwonderful that the foundation has been supporting CISD students and teachersbrfor 20 years, and we look forward to carrying on the tradition.”
Mason added, “This year'sbr20th Anniversary celebration is shaping up to be the biggest eventbrto date, and we look forward to seeing our community parents and businesses tobrbenefit CISD's teachers and students.”
