Dragon Youth Baseball is kicking off its first-ever three-day tournament this weekend.
Starting at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 24 at Bicentennial Park, the Dragon Youth Baseball team will launch its Summer All Star Finale tournament with an opening ceremony. With the Southlake Mayor and head baseball coach giving public remarks, the opening ceremony will also feature Dragon Youth Baseball Scholarship award announcements and a first pitch thrown by a player from the Miracle League of Southlake, according to a media release.
The Carroll Dragons will enter the tournament with a game against Aledo on Saturday, June 25 at 2 p.m., followed by a game against the TCR Bobcats at 5 p.m. Other teams competing include Colleyville, Coppell and Flower Mound. Championships games will close out the tournament from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 26.
