Stewart Johnson / Snapped Dragons
It’s a good time to be a Carroll Dragon football player.
Off the heels of a dominant 2024 season that saw the squad go 15-1 – losing only in the state championship game to Austin Vandegrift – college recruiters from around the country zeroed in on Southlake to beef up their recruiting classes.
Now, heading into the 2025 season, the list of Dragons that have committed to schools – verbally and officially – is quite long, and even includes a few non-seniors.
Here is a list of current Dragons that have committed, as of August 2025, to play college football in 2026 and beyond:
Angelo Renda, Quarterback, Class of 2026 – University of Pittsburgh
Brock Boyd, Wide Receiver, Class of 2026 — Ohio State University
