At the next varsity game, the crowd will be a sea of pink instead of a sea of green. That’s because the Oct. 30 game will also be Pink Out Night, according to MySouthlakeNews.com.
This year will be the 12th annual Pink Out Game, which was started by former Dragon Amy Moan. But due to the pandemic, this year will look a little different.
Instead of having cancer survivors come out onto the field to be honored, the announcer will recognize cancer survivors and invite them to stand and be celebrated during a moment in the first half.
There will also be “pass-the-bucket” donations taken at the game, with Berkey’s matching what is raised.
