They have already chosen Southlake Carroll as one of thebr5 state finalists in their Best Football Program 2014 contest. From here, we need to share our Dragon Pride and tally the popular vote that will help put the program over the topbrfor the contest’s top prize.

Thebrnext installment of the “Best Of” contest series will be the 2014 Best FootballbrProgram. Each state, as well as Washington D.C., will have fivebrrepresentative schools. The contest will start with 255 schools, with thebroverall strength of all the individual football programs as the criteria forbrinclusion.
Criteria:
• On-field success (allbrlevels)
• Coaching/Player Development
• Fans/Attendancebr(community support)
• Facilities/Training/Uniforms
There will be three rounds of voting:
RoundbrDates:
State: Nov. 10 – Nov. 19
Regional: Nov. 20 – Dec. 1
National: Dec. 2 – Dec. 10
State Round – Begins at 12 p.m. (ET) Nov. 10, 2014 and ends atbr2 p.m. (ET) Nov. 19. At the end of the first round, the 51 schoolsbrwith the most votes in each state will advance to the RegionalbrVoting, along with the top five schools that received the highest numberbrof votes, but did not win their region. A total of 56 schools advance tobrthe regional round.
Semifinal Round – Begins at 12 p.m. (ET) Nov. 20, 2014 andbrends at 2 p.m. (ET) Dec. 1. The schools that receive the highest number ofbreligible votes from each region (one per region) will advance to the finalbrround. The next two highest vote getters (no matter what region) will receive abrwild card, and advance to the final round. Ten total schools will advance tobrthe final round.
Final Round - Begins at 12 p.m. (ET) Dec. 2, 2014 and ends atbr2:00 p.m. (E.T.) Dec. 10. The school that receives the highest number ofbreligible votes from the final voting round will be the winner.
Prizes:
First Place: The Athletic Dept. of the high school will receivebr$1,000 and a banner
Second Place: The Athletic Dept. of the high school will receivebr$500 and a banner
Third Place: The Athletic Dept. of the high school will receivebr$250 and a banner
